Terms of Service
These terms govern access to the PressPlayed beta. By creating or using an account, you agree to them.
The service
PressPlayed organizes news selected by a listener and generates private audio briefings. The beta is provided on a best-effort basis and may change, experience interruptions, or restrict capacity while it develops.
Your account
You must provide accurate account information, protect sign-in links, and promptly report suspected account misuse. Invitations and accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, shared, or used to provide the service to others. You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms; if you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree for you.
News and third-party material
Publishers and authors retain their rights in their work. PressPlayed provides attribution and links to original articles but does not control, endorse, or guarantee third-party content. Audio and extracted material are for your personal listening through PressPlayed. Do not redistribute, publish, sell, or build a separate content or audio archive from them. Do not use PressPlayed to evade subscriptions, authentication, paywalls, or access restrictions.
Responsible use
You agree to the Acceptable Use Policy. We may limit traffic, remove a source, suspend an account, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect listeners, publishers, the service, or others. A serious violation may result in immediate suspension; when practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to ask for review.
No professional advice
News and generated narration may contain errors or become outdated. PressPlayed is not legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Verify important information with the original publisher and qualified professionals.
Beta availability and responsibility
The beta is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law, without a promise that every publisher, article, voice, device, or connection will work. To the extent permitted by law, PressPlayed is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the beta. Nothing here excludes a right or responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, notice to account holders. Questions may be sent to info@pressplayed.com.
